Creating a life dedicated to Mission, love and Encouragement
Mission
We all search for that next step—the pursuit of a life filled with meaning and purpose. But take a moment to ask yourself: What do you truly want out of life? Is it comfort, peace, fun, or excitement? Or can I challenge you to consider a deeper question: What can you give in life?
When we shift our focus from what we can gain to what we can offer, we tap into a far more rewarding path. It leads us to a mission, one that aligns with our values and gives us a sense of purpose to create meaningful change in the world.
This mission might be rooted in your faith, in supporting others, or in sharing the unique skills and talents you have. It’s not about what you can take, but what you can give to make a difference.
I encourage you to discover your mission and step boldly into the world to share it. The fulfillment you seek may just be found in the impact you make on others.
Love
The deep fulfilment that comes from love is incredibly precious, yet it can be challenging to navigate and even harder to control. Love, in its truest form, often feels elusive, especially when we seek it to satisfy all the longings and needs we carry in our hearts. There's a void within us, a gap that no worldly pleasure or material possession can ever fully fill. We may try to fill it with relationships, achievements, or distractions, but none of these provide lasting satisfaction.
It is only when we recognize that this deep yearning can only be met by God's love that we begin to experience true peace. By acknowledging that only God can satisfy the deepest needs of our hearts, we allow ourselves to step aside and let Christ become the centre of who we are. As we shift our focus from ourselves to Him, we find a sense of purpose and fulfilment that goes beyond anything this world can offer.
Encouragement
Let’s be honest, everyone needs a bit of encouragement every day. Words hold incredible power; they can either drag us down or lift us up. But what kind of words are we speaking into our own lives and into the lives of others? Are you filled with negativity, letting pain and disappointment shape your words, or do you make the intentional choice to speak positivity and greatness over your life and those around you, even when things are tough?
It's important to remember that hurt people often hurt others. If you're struggling with your own pain, it might be time to focus on healing so that you can engage with others in a more uplifting and healthy way.
Being someone who encourages others is more valuable than any material wealth. It shows that you care, that you’re invested in their well-being, and that you genuinely want to see them thrive. The words we choose to speak can make a profound impact, so choose wisely. Speak life, hope, and possibility over yourself and the people in your life.
